WAY LIE [Caleb De’Athe] is an electronic music producer based in Mulubinba, Newcastle known for his genre-blending soundscapes and dynamic rhythms spanning ambient, lo-fi, house, and dubstep.

Since his debut release in 2018, he has carved out a versatile discography.

2024 marked a breakthrough year for WAY LIE, with standout moments including his debut headline show for Rhythm At Dusk and recognition from internationally celebrated artists What So Not and Young Franco.

Fresh off releasing his dubstep EP "Spectral" and the ambient EP "acceptance", Caleb continues to refine his sound with intricate sound design, emotive textures, and dynamic compositions.

Completing an Advanced Diploma of Sound Production certification, that focused on music production, analog mixing, recording, digital mixing and live. This has allowed Caleb to discover new paths in his career in audio leading him to produce studio recordings for Nana Klumpp and sound designing for Isaac Thorpe’s short film project CYCLES.
